At Bouchercon, USA Today best-selling mystery writer Jamie Lee Scott and I pitched our books to groups of 8 mystery fans at a time seated around a table. After five minutes, we moved to another table. This was repeated until we had talked to about 200 people in two hours. The event was called speed dating.
