Jailhouse Conversation

“So how’d you get caught? I thought Lefty O’Dwyer could open anything.”

“That’s what he told me.  Said the new high-tech vault at Apex Investments would be a piece of cake.

“So he has me tote this huge aluminum case.  Looked like a suitcase with fancy chrome locks.  I hauled that thing through the tunnel and into the building.  Damn thing was heavy.  Lefty says he needs all his tools for a quick break-in.  Tells me to stop complaining.

“But before we could get in the vault, the cops got us.”

“What happened?”

“Lefty couldn’t get the tool case open.”
